“But I make account of none of these, neither do I count my life precious to myself, so that I finish my course with joy, and the ministration that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify fully the good news of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24
Around the time I memorized my first verse of scripture, Acts 20:24, I was burdened deeply to pray that God would make my life unexplainable apart from Himself. My hope was that I would be used as an instrument in such a way that even men with hearts of stone could not deny that I had encountered the living God and that His power resulted in an extraordinary transformation of my life.
God’s answer to this prayer over the past several years has changed my understanding of the Christian life in such a way that I am compelled to write out my thoughts of what I have learned and continue to learn. My hope is that God will use these writings to draw myself and others more closely to Himself and elucidate the truth that “The righteous by faith shall live.”.
